Boaz Avidan Assumes New Role of VP R&D for Evolven

JERSEY CITY, NJ (July 19, 2010) –Evolven Software Inc., the pioneer of Granular Configuration Automation solutions, announced today that Boaz Avidan is assuming a new role as VP of Research and Development.

Boaz will be responsible for driving the growth and development of the company's innovative software initiatives. Boaz has many years of software development and management experience, and will be a strong addition to Evolven's recognized team of industry experts.

Prior to joining Evolven, Boaz lead a development team for one of the fastest growing IT Management products at  Mercury Interactive (acquired by Hewlett Packard [NYSE: HPQ] in 2007). Boaz's leadership was integral to the rollout of the product, offering an innovative business-centric approach to managing applications. Boaz brings a deep knowledge in developing software solutions in the areas of change and configuration management, performance and availability monitoring. He holds a BA in Computer Science.
