Role description:

Evolven seeks a creative and fast adapting R&D engineer passionate about continuously learning new technologies and contributing to customers’ success. With a high degree of independence, the role requires a mix of strong technical skills, an understanding of diverse IT environments, and the ability to investigate and understand new application and infrastructure technologies quickly.

You will be a part of the highly effective software engineering team designing and developing a unique, innovative platform serving the largest enterprises in the world. Coverage engineer will develop collection models, collectors, parsers, and other components required to retrieve configuration and inventory information from various IT software environments used by Evolven customers on-premises and in the cloud. The role will include research of the target technologies, their architecture, APIs, CLIs, and other access methods, design of the most effective collection approach, and development of data collections and integrations with the target technologies. Coverage engineers will also need to package and transfer the collections and integrations to the Evolven field team, educating field consultants. The technologies to be supported by Evolven include web servers, application servers, databases, messaging buses, network devices, containerization platforms, cloud services, etc.

Evolven stack includes Java, JSP, XML, and other languages required to interface with the IT software used by Evolven customers.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate target technologies by studying their architecture, systems flow, data usage, and configuration requirements.
  • Architect, design, and develop coverage support for the target technologies
  • Build integrations with various IT platforms
  • Analyze and resolve coverage issues reported by Evolven QA and customer.
  • Protect customer operations by keeping information confidential.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science
  • 2-3 years of software development experience

Senior BDR/SDR

Job Description: Senior BDR/SDR

Role Description

As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will be joining a small team of BDR professionals and drive outbound lead generation. You will proactively identify and engage with prospects, qualify for pain/need and interest with the goal of setting appointments for our account executives.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Work with your paired Account Executive to prospect and create new leads to increase sales pipeline
  • Set appointments for the Account Executive
  • Maintain consistent and meaningful prospect outreach via phone, as well as via email, and social platforms
  • Possess a strong understanding of Evolven’s value proposition, the target market, and positioning

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage technical sales efforts through discussion, presentation and demonstrations
  • Mapping of desired pain to Evolven value and presentation back to prospects/customers
  • Definition, scope and execution of proof of concept. Highlighting and demonstrating the value identified through the prior proof of value (POV)
  • Work well with Sales to manage and complete sales process from Discovery to Closure
  • Observe and improve training, tools, documentation, information, and global processes for our Global Solutions team
  • Advise (internally and externally) on ITIL and/or DevOps operational processes

Junior Data Scientist

Job Description: Junior Data Scientist

Role Description:

We are looking for a Junior Data Scientist with experience in Data Science, strong analytical skills, and a passion to take part in R&D. You will use Machine Learning to develop insightful and predictive solutions for our core products. You will gain experience working with large amounts of highly structured data, applied ML, and Anomaly Detection. You will be developing data-driven solutions to create algorithms while working closely with the engineering team to deliver ML models in production, as well as embedding the results into the product.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with Product Managers, Engineers, and Customer Success to dive deep into data and user experience
  • Construct metrics and ML models to identify growth opportunities
  • Handle data annotation and data analysis efforts required to build ML models, help with the development of the annotation guidelines
  • Participate in integrating of ML models in the product
  • Participate in designing and integrating UX for working with ML results

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor/master’s degree graduate/student pursuing degrees in data science, statistics, applied math, computer science, engineering or other quantitative fields providing sufficient data science foundations

The Sr. PMM will work cross-functionally and within the marketing team to help drive sales. Responsibilities

  • Work closely with VP of Marketing to contribute to marketing plans and GTM that include targeting, value proposition, key messaging, market analysis, competitive analysis, promotional planning, trade show strategy, sales tool development, digital marketing, and web strategy.
  • Understand our buyers, their pain/needs, their buying criteria and process, and the market.
  • Partner with Product Management/ Development to understand the value of product features and benefits and provide feedback and insights for roadmap plans.
  • Evolve our messaging framework and extend it to verticals based on use cases.
  • Communicate important product announcements and updates (via webinars, emails, blogs, etc.) to customers, partners, and sales to ensure awareness and adoption.
  • Create content (collateral, white papers, presentations, videos, blog posts, web content, social posts, and other materials) for marketing campaigns that clearly communicate our value proposition.
  • Develop and maintain sales and partner enablement materials, including pitch decks, battle cards, cheat sheets, competitive tools, customer references, etc.
  • Help VP of Marketing build and maintain customer references, write use cases, conduct case study interviews and write collateral.
  • Assist with sales/partner training and enablement to ensure proper positioning, messaging, and consistency
  • Partner with demand generation partners in marketing to build and execute email, social, and ppc promotional and lead gen campaigns.
  • Provide creative direction on campaigns, marketing materials, sales tools, ads, etc., and review campaign messaging and strategy regularly with the marketing team.
  • Ensure positioning and messaging are accurate across all content and channels.
  • Help VP of Marketing with quarterly PR and AR efforts to drive awareness and thought leadership.
  • Evangelize Brand where appropriate, speaking on webinars, videos, and at conferences.

Requirements

  • 7-12 years of product marketing (or similar) experience
  • Experience marketing complex and emerging technology, including cloud-based solutions
  • Hands-on experience in developing messaging in the areas of cloud, IT Ops, infrastructure, and/or DevOps in B2B, SaaS environments
  • Experience messaging to IT personas at the Director to C-level
  • Experience working with a start-up / small company
  • Proven experience in managing successful product launches, and related activities
  • Proven ability to translate technical details into benefits for the user, and deliver technical content in clear, concise, and compelling language
  • Meticulous project management skills, and ability to coordinate across teams with an eye for details, and schedules, and empathy to operate in remote-first environments
  • Excellent communicator – verbal and written, looking for a natural presenter and storyteller
  • Strong active listening skills, including the ability to identify and isolate customers' concerns or objections.
